Governance and Development
The OECD/DAC's work in the area of governance is carried out through its Network on Governance ( www.oecd.org/dac/governance), an international forum that brings together practitioners of development co-operation agencies and experts from partner countries. The GOVNET's work covers some governance issues including governance assessments and capacity development, the fight against corruption, taxation and accountability, human rights and development , transparency in support of these elements of democratic governance.
