Weitzenegger's Monitoring and Evaluation Report
Evaluation is an important accountability tool. It helps in learning about what works well, what does not and reasons why.
TrainEval – New training programme on development cooperation and evaluation
TrainEval consists of 4 modules of 4 days each, which will take place in Brussels between September 2007 and January 2008. TrainEval is an advanced training programme in development cooperation, which has been further adapted to the specific requirements of the European development cooperation and the EC evaluation approach. The programme has been developed by experienced trainers and evaluators to respond to the increasing demand for evaluation expertise and its professionalization. It is offering a qualification opportunity in development evaluation for consultants, project and evaluation managers of implementing agencies as well as for representatives from financing agencies.
