Evaluation in der Entwicklungszusammenarbeit

Evaluation dient dem Zweck des kollektiven Lernens. Die Beteiligten wollen wissen, zu welchen Wirkungen ihre Maßnahmen und Strategien führen. Nur wenn evident ist, was funktioniert und was scheitert, stehen Lehren und Erfolgsbeispiele für die weitere Zusammenarbeit zur Verfügung.

In der internationalen Zusammenarbeit ist es schwierig, aber lohnend, mit allen Beteiligten zu verstehen, was eigentlich gemeinsam bewirkt wird und welche verschiedenen Sichtweisen darauf es gibt.

Selten kann eine isolierte Erfahrung in anderen Zusammenhängen erfolgreich wiederholt werden. Die informierte Diskussion der Erfahrung und das transparente Monitoring einzelner Schritte sind bedeutende Prozesse, um aus Evaluation zu lernen.

So können sowohl Methoden als auch Berichte gezielt gefunden werden. Auf der Seite werden Links zu Datenbanken mit Evaluierungsberichten gesammelt. Bei deutschsprachigen Suchen hilft eher die Forschungsmaschine.de für Internationale Zusammenarbeit, Entwicklungspolitik und Entwicklungsländer. Der Statistics Spider http://statistics.weitzenegger.de ist das passende Helferlein.
